Welcome back to the Poudre Preview, where we give you a look at the upcoming week at Poudre. Check in here every Monday to see upcoming opportunities and events, and make sure to check the Friday news to keep updated. Let's take a look at this week!
Monday: The Colby College will be in the career enter at 9 am today. The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs will be there at 2:30 p.m.
Next week is homecoming week! The theme this year is Candyland. There will be events every day next week, so get excited and make sure to check back here! Also, be sure to nominate HoCo royalty this week via the Google Form in your email. Tickets are $15 and will be for sale in the flag hallway during lunch all this week.
If you're interested in tutoring at Lincoln, grab a permission slip from Ms. Tomaschow today.
Tuesday: 'On October 3, he asked me what day it was.' Happy Mean Girls Day! Today at lunch, enjoy a performance of a few songs from the musical as a sneak peek at the upcoming production.
The University of San Diego will be in the career center today at 2:30. Girls interested in swimming, come to the event center after school in the event center to meet your new coach. If you're interested in tutoring at Lincoln, there is a meeting at lunch today.
The Northern Colorado Out of State College fair is after school today! 10-12th graders are welcome. Make sure to tell your friends!
Wednesday: The Texas Tech University will be in the career center at 10:45 today. Carroll College will be there at 11:15, and Birmingham University will be there at 1:30.
Seniors, you have a senior meeting next Wednesday at late start. You will be receiving important information about cap/gown ordering information, how to select a staff member to hand you your diploma, and you will learn more about scholarships.
Our eSports team has a Smash Bros match against Ellicott Senior and Grandview High Schools after school today, in the library. Make sure to cheer them on!
Thursday: The University of Puget Sound will be in the career center at 9 am today; Western Michigan University there at 1 pm; Dartmouth College at 2:30 pm.
There will be a DECA meeting at lunch today in room 225. Talk to Mr. Johner for more information.
The eSports team has a Rocket League match against Fossil High School today, after school in the library. Wish them luck!
Friday: The University of Chicago will be in the career center at 10:45 today. As well, the Conservatory of Recording Art and Science will be there at 1 pm.
