Edeker Merritt
Senior Writer & Local Correspondent
Edeker "Eddy" Merritt is a junior at Poudre High School. This is her first year writing for Poudre Press, and is hoping to help bring Fort Collins community and culture to her peers. She values the art and music scenes in Fort Collins, and is inspired by the work her peers do for the community.


Elizabeth Bentley is a current senior at Poudre High School who plans to pursue humanities in college post-graduation. This is her first year writing for the Poudre Press and she is excited to dive into her column, and work with her amazing peers on this project!

Mo McClure is a senior at Poudre High School. Her main topic that she writes about is how people’s words affect others and how it affects the way they see reality. She also likes to often write about Mental Health. She loves listening to music 24/7 and also really enjoys doing any form of art such as drawing, painting, pastels, pottery, etc.

Leian Jones is a junior at Poudre high school in his first year of journalism who is big into history, politics, and modern events, Leian runs a blog called History, Today, and is an author and editor and the Poudre News and member of the Poudre Impalas eSports team.

Jarin is a senior at Poudre High School and is in his first year with the Poudre Press. Jarin is also the lead reporter and creator of Operation Copper Rain, a blog committed to reporting on international news and keeping the community informed with accurate, unbiased reporting and relevance to our daily community.

Sonny Nesmith
Senior Writer and Art Correspondent
The main writer of Acrylic Arts, Sonny Nesmith, is a current senior at Poudre High School and in his first year at the Poudre Press. I have a passion for art, and I enjoy painting and drawing. He loves anything fall/autumn related, and enjoy going for hikes. Post-graduation, he plans to go to college and pursue a career of teaching art at a high school.

Writer and Beauty Correspondent
Grace is a Sophomore at Poudre High School this is her first year writing for Poudre Press. In addition to the Poudre Press, Grace runs a beauty blog called The Standards of Our Beauty. After high school she hopes to go into cosmetology school and go on to own her own beauty store/business. She wants to make others walk out of her store feeling the most confident they have ever had.

Guest Writer and Senior Site Manager
Milla Pickett is a Sophomore at Poudre High School, and It’s her first year working as the Site Manger on the Poudre Press. She’s involved in Theatre and Choir for the school, and is planning to go to school in business so she can better run her family's publishing house after graduation.

Triston Thomas is a Senior at Poudre Highschool, and it’s their first year working as a Site Manager for the Poudre Press. They are involved in the Poudre League of Legends eSports team and are planning on going to school in computer science so they can go into cybersecurity after graduation.

Isaiah Moore is a senior at Poudre High School and this is in his first year with the Poudre Press. He plans on majoring in Computer Sciences at CSU and eventually becoming a game developer. He writes the blog ‘Isaiah’s VR Game Guides.’ Be sure to check him out!
