This past Sunday, May 18 a young but brilliant student teacher by the name of Ian horn graduated from Colorado state university as an English major and also gained his teacher licensure. Mr. Horn was an aide and student teacher for Poudre high schools bright Isaac Morley, who is also an English teacher but also the lead editor at the Poudre press program. Mr. Horn was also an editor for the press that taught us about numerous things we were confused about or just didn’t quite understand, and also helped us brainstorm ideas. His way of teaching was not only personal but it was also powerful because he made sure we were able to actually understand what he was teaching us. His resilience was reflected by everyone and everything he touched and he will be missed by all at Poudre. Now he will continue on with his bright future in, according to him, "one of the most oversaturated career paths that there is.”
Its my hope that all of the future students he has will actually listen to what he has to say and ask for help when they need it from him because he will always be there for them as he was for us. It was not only an honor and privilege to meet Ian Horn but it was also a blessing. to the man with the bright pink hair I say thank you for everything you have done for all of us not only in the press organization but also in the school as a whole. It's also my belief that Ian Horn will go on to affect generations to come of young adults just as he has affected me and the others that have interacted with him.
no matter where you end up there will always be people who care for you Mr. Horn, farewell for now.
