The Poudre and Thomson School districts have organized once again to host their hiring fair for graduating seniors. If you are a senior who is thinking about staying in Northern Colorado, this fair gives you an awesome head start in the workforce by offering full-time and part-time jobs in different career fields. This fair is not just limited to Poudre and Thomson school districts. This event is open to any seniors in NOCO. This event will be from 9am- 2:00pm at Foothills mall on Thursday, April 9. it is organized by Nick Peterson, Community & Business Development Coordinator in Poudre school district, if you have any questions contact him Via email: npeterson@psdschools.org or Phone: (970) 556-5218. They are expecting hundreds of students to attend this event and find what they are looking for. If you have an organization that is considering hiring and think this event would be a great opportunity, please sign up via the QR code down below!
Business
The businesses who sign up are first come, first served due to the limited table capacity.
The business schedule is very different from the student one and is very well coordinated. From 8:30am-9:00am - Arrive & Set Up (Free coffee & light breakfast items), then from 9:00am-1:00pm - Senior Hiring Fair (12th grade students will come and go during this time), and from 1:00pm-1:30pm - Take down, clean up, depart.
Students
Students will be allowed to explore and look around every booth starting at 9:00 am.
This event does fall on a school day, so many work-based learning coordinators are allowing students to be school excused for those who want to attend (be sure to ask your work-based teacher for the permission slip and possible resume help). There is a sign-up for students in the QR Code for potential updates about the fair and how to prepare for the fair!
If you are really looking for a job in any field of interest, this fair is a great opportunity for you!
