Class Rush 2026: Registration Day!

At Poudre High School, Class Rush is coming up next week. On Thursday, the 15th of January, between 1st and 2nd period, students will go around the school and explore all the opportunities the school has to offer. It will last from 10:21 AM to 10:56 AM.

Most students know about the major opportunities the school has to offer, like Algebra and English, but there are lesser-known classes throughout the school, such as all the potential art classes you can take and classes such as metalworks, as well dozens on dozens of other classes and opportunities Poudre have to offer.

Teachers will have stands set up all around the school that demonstrate what their classes are and what happens in their classes, allowing students to find what they’re interested in, and how they can pursue that path.

At the end of this 30~ minute period, students will go to their 2nd period and there will be a counselor presentation there to help walk you through the process of registration.

You will have received a paper with all the potential classes, and now that you have talked to all the teachers, you will know which classes you would like to do. You will select your classes on StudentVUE. At StudentVUE, go to Course Plan. Here you can type their names or numbers into their respective categories. It is recommended that you select additional classes than the minimum in the scenario that you do not get every class you want.

After this, you will meet with your councilors on the allotted time. These times that you will meet your councilor will be posted at the front of the school on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026.

Before your meeting, make sure to have the classes you want selected in StudentVUE, and it will help to bring your paper with your classes selected in it too.

Good luck, Poudre!
