Edeker Merritt

Edeker "Eddy" Merritt is a senior at Poudre High School. This is her second year writing for Poudre Press, and is hoping to help bring Fort Collins community and culture to her peers. She values the art and music scenes in Fort Collins, and is inspired by the work her peers do for the community.

Jarin Clapp

Graduate Editor & Advisor

Jarin graduated from Poudre High School in 2023 and has returned as an advisor for The Poudre Press. Jarin has run Operation Copper Rain since starting at the Press, focusing on providing global access to news in a way that is accessible to the community of PHS. Jarin now studies at CSU and works as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) in the local hospital system.

Grace VerCauteren

Grace is a junior at PHS and in her second year at the Poudre Press, and is excited to now be one of the head editors to continue to be on the Poudre Press covering and writing articles for the school. She has a huge passion for writing especially about important topics that have a large effect on a huge portion of High schoolers, such as beauty standards for teens. She also enjoys playing sports, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Allyson Gabbert

Reporter

Ally Gabbert is a senior at Poudre High School and her first year at the Poudre Press. Her focus is on current events going on in our world, ranging anywhere from the school system to American beauty standards. Ally has played softball for 10 years and has also been involved with other school activities. Be sure to check out her column every other week!

Andrew Sheneman

Andrew Sheneman is a Senior student at Poudre High School and in his first year at the Poudre Press. He's always enjoyed writing and is excited to contribute to the Poudre Press and take his writing a step further. He's involved in many AP and Frontrange classes, and loves going disc golfing, reading, and playing sports. Andrew intends to pursue environmental engineering and hopes to someday become an environmental technician.

Brody Volesky

Brody is a senior at Poudre High School working at the Poudre Press for the first time. Some of Brody's interests include government, history, and world events. He runs a column called 2024 Today which delves into relevant news around the upcoming 2024 election.

​Hi I'm T-Nyla but a lot of people call me T, I'm a senior at Poudre high school. This is my first year on the Poudre press, I'm a athlete, I play softball and plan on play softball in collage. I really enjoy sports, So I decide to make my blog about sports because they mean a lot to me and I want everyone to get a chance to be in the spotlight and make everyone feel like they have someone cheering for them. Nina Crawford

Nina Crawford is a senior at Poudre High School. This is her first year at Poudre Press. Her column focuses on personal wellness and health. She has always had a passion for writing and looks forward to contributing to the press.
